With this background, we invite you to join Bhavan’s family by instituting an ‘Endowment Program’ in your name/memory of your loved ones/institution to share Bhavan’s aims and objectives. An endowment involves depositing a specific sum in the name of an institution, a person or a cause.

Instituting an ‘Endowment’ with Bhavan Bengaluru is simple. One can invest a corpus fund in the name of a loved one or an institution. Interest earned on this corpus fund will be used to conduct a yearly program of the donor’s choice.

The donor can choose to conduct cultural programs such as classical music, dance, theatre or folk arts. He/She may also choose to propagate Vedic and Upanishadic knowledge by conferring awards on eminent scholars or organizing lectures and seminars on our sacred texts.

The date and month of the event is as per the donor’s choice. Bhavan Bengaluru will take the responsibility of conducting the programs in a befitting way. Endowment Programs will be featured as an extension of Bhavan Bengaluru.

There is no upper limit for instituting an endowment. However, the minimum endowment deposit is Rs. 1,00,000. The programs will be arranged utilizing the interest earned from the deposit after deducting 20% towards administrative expenses. Endowments so instituted are reviewed once in 10 years from the point of view of the adequacy of the corpus fund, considering escalation in costs.

A provision to club more than one endowment with similar objective is also available if the corpus fund of one of the endowments is found to be inadequate due to the escalation of costs.
