Overview

Amongst the most divine saints in India, Santha Kanaka Dasa’s contribution towards spirituality and music has created an example of its own. His journey inward seeking refuge at the feet of his favourite deity Lord Krishna led to a path of righteousness, which further was instilled in his followers and society.

An ode to Santha Kanaka Dasa was organized in the form of a workshop at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru in association with National Saint Poet Kanaka Dasa Study and Research Center, Bengaluru conducted Kanaka Mane Mane Tanaka (Spreading Kanaka’s Virtues to Every Home). The workshop was held from 6 Dec to 10 Dec 2021 at Bhavan Bengaluru.

The five-day workshop was inaugurated on 6th December 2021 by Shri. S. Rangappa, Director, Department of Kannada and Culture, Government of Karnataka. Renowned musical virtuosos Vidushi Dr T. S. Satyavati, Pandit. Shankar Shanbhogue and Shri. M. R. Satyanarayan steered this workshop with their sessions on all days as eminent resources faculty.
