The Vyasa Jyothi Award for the year 2021 was conferred upon Veda|| Brahma || Shri Dhali Lakshmi Narasimha Bhatt, renowned Sanskrit scholar and teacher. Born in the year 1927, Shri. Dhali Lakshmi Narasimha Bhatt acquired his education from his father in the Gurukul system. He is the 47th member of his family who has dedicated his life to the study of Sanskrit and the sacred texts. Together with his Gurukul system, he has also taught at the Sringeri Sankara Mutt, Poorna Pragna Vidya Peetha, Magadi Karanikara Veda Dharma Paathashaala in Bengaluru and at the ripe age of 94, still teaches at the Yogeshwara Paathashala.
